Definition of Felony



The crime of high seriousness is known as a felony. This is a serious crime which results in the imprisonment of one year or a longer period. It involves serious violence of crimes and is harmful to others. Felony results in first-degree murder crime i.e. arson.

 


In England and Wales, a felony is the most serious harm. This includes murder, burglary, kidnapping and rape. The person convicted in a felony is known as felons. If there is a repetition of a felon, their punishment becomes extra-legally as their history match with the felons.
