Definition of Natural Law

In science, a law is stated as a generalized rule that describes the set of observations in the form of either a verbal or a mathematical statement. The scientific laws are also termed natural laws. A cause-and-effect rule is applied to the observed elements and the conditions are kept the same in this method.

The statement of the natural law should be based on experimental evidence and must be describing any aspect of the universe. The laws do not explain why the event happened as the phenomenon is being explained by the scientific theory. It is not the case that the theory would always turn into a law.
