Definition of Paralegal

A paralegal is a term used for the persons who are not lawyers by profession but they work as the lawyers. They did another job but besides that, they have the ability to go in the court and fight a case as a paralegal. They are known by the cases how to handle them in the legal framework but they are not lawyers.

Drafting the cases, writing the case verdicts are examples of paralegals. Paralegal staff work for the lawyers by helping them out as their co-workers. Their work is as important as lawyers as they work just beside the lawyers to help them support in writing or drafting the legal terminologies.
