Population dynamics is the branch of life sciences that deals with the age and size composition of the populations. A population is defined as a group of individuals of the same species living in the same area at a specific time. There are some characteristics of a population such as population density, birthrate, and death rate which are quite interesting for the biologist.
If the individuals are emigrated out of the population of immigrated into the population, then these are known as emigration rate and immigration rate respectively. These all attributes collectively form population parameters and tell us how the density of the population is changed over a specific period. Example scenarios are ageing populations, population growth, or population decline.
