Role ambiguity arises due to a vague job description and lack of proper organizational structure. The employee didn’t have a clear job description which makes the goals and job boundaries unclear to him due to which he may perform low. This also arises the conflict between the management and the employee.
To eliminate the role ambiguity, companies develop a strong organizational structure where everyone has a clear understanding of their roles and the hierarchy of the organization. Companies also educate and train their employees to understand their tasks and roles and develop a clear road map to achieve the overall team and organizational goals.
