Definition of Structured Interview



A structured interview is a type of interview where the interviewer prepares the specific questions in a particular order in advance to ask all candidates coming for an interview. The structured interview has close-ended questions that are asked in a limited time. Since each candidate is asked the same questions, it's easy to compare the responses find the right person for the job. This type of interview is also suitable for a position where many candidates have applied for. On the other hand, this type of interview is hard to develop, test, and protect from any question leaking.

 


Also, this type of interview is not personalized according to the employee behavior and personality which gives limited responses from the candidate which gives unsatisfactory experience to the candidate.
